Description: Bentley 4¼ litre coupé de ville by Gurney Nutting 1937. Engine 4257cc S6 OHV. Registration BLY 4, Chassis B166JD.
Commissioned by Lady Rothschild in 1936 who wanted a more useable car than her husbands pair of French bodied Hispano Suiza. This copies their sweeping lines and black and white paintwork. Styled by John Blatchley of Gurney Nutting who penned the design, but due to the lengthy build time Lady Rothschild lost patience and bought something else.
